Helgi Reyr Auðarson Guðmundsson

B.Ed in General Teacher Education focusing on teaching the subjects of Icelandic and Social Studies in grades 8 to 10.
M.Ed in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development from OISE University of Toronto, focusing Global Citizenship Education.
Helgi Reyr is a compulsory school teacher teaching Icelandic, social studies, life skills and English in grades 9 and 10. Before becoming a teacher, Helgi worked in youth centres and is currently passionate about blending technology and creativity in learning, student voice and students being happy at school.
Maríanna Guðbergsdóttir (She/Her)

Maríanna has worked with kids and youth for over 15 years in preschools, elementary schools, and youth centers. Her passions include equality and creating opportunities for young people to be heard and to influence issues that matter to them. Maríanna is now working for the city of Reykjavík as a project manager in the Department of Education and Youth. Her job is to provide advice and support regarding equality education, human rights, and sexual health to staff in the city‘s school and leisure activities.
